Nose: Rock pool salinity, plus stewed fruit and herbal hints of anise.

Palate: Tangy citrus peels, swiftly followed by kippers and caramelised nuts.

It's another marvellous Moscatel-cask-finished Caol Ila here from the Distillers Edition series! This particular edition was distilled back in 2008, and bottled in 2020. Sweet dried fruit notes work wonderfully with the familiar coastal smokiness of Caol Ila, making for a satisfying sip.
