Region: Italy
Aged : 18
Alc: 43,8%
Nose : The spicy and tobacco leaf notes are linked to the ethereal ones of dehydrated dried fruit and the marked hints of walnut husk and fig . The raw material of origin, the wine, is extremely recognizable and is expressed in the notes of sherry, port and Marsala.
Color : Extremely bright and brilliant, a very warm amber with mahogany and golden reflections .
Palate : Soft, intense, persistent. The candied yellow fruit blends with the fruit in alcohol and with the spicy notes of cinnamon , allspice and cloves . The complex notes of freshly dried walnut and tobacco leaves , coffee and maderized liqueur wines emerge clearly . The finishing in Amarone della Valpolicella barrels gives a tannic and vinous touch which reinforces the structure and balance of the distillate.
